Vince Grittani
Vince Grittani has written extensively for television, stage and various publications. Besides creating, producing and hosting “The Weekend Guy” series (seen daily on the Ion Life Network) and previously Cottage Life Television, he has written for numerous Nelvana Animation series including “The Chester Cheetah Show”, “BeetleJuice”, “Neverending Story”, “Dog City”, “Tales from the Cryptkeeper” and “Care Bears”. He has also written for Cinar’s “Wimzie’s House” plus the CBS late night series “Sweating Bullets” and soap opera “Family Passions”. For stage he has created over thirteen produced productions including the hit 80’s musical “Yuppies”, the award winning “Quiet! I’m Talking” and “Wake Me When It’s Over” plus most recently “Scenes From the 19th Hole” , which will soon make its US and European debut. He has contributed articles and illustrations to the National Post, Toronto Sun, Muskoka Magazine, The Muskokan and What's Up Muskoka. He has been drawing The Weekend Guy weekly comic for ten years and his latest "Simply Green", spoofing the green movement. He is author of "The Weekend Guy: A Survial Guide" (Key Porter Books)
Vince lives north of Toronto in Muskoka, with his bearded collie Iago. He is artistic director/producer of The Muskoka Theatre Project and executive producer of his company Words Talk Productions. He is also a licensed Realtor specializing in recreational properties.
